Transfer a folder from PC to iPhone through animated QR codes — no cloud upload. Files never leave your machine except as pixels on the display.
Problem
Cross-device file transfer usually requires cloud services or cable setup. QR File Sender encodes a local ZIP optically using the QFS1 protocol.
Core workflow
Scan folder → ZIP → FEC packets → Animated QR → Camera → Reconstruct + SHA-256 verify
Sender runs on desktop (Python or zero-install shell); receiver runs in mobile Safari.
What is distinctive
- QFS1 optical protocol — FEC, CRC32, SHA-256 over animated QR frames
- No server upload; GitHub Pages hosts receiver code only
- Multiple sender modes (Standard Python, Zero-Install, Web Sender P1) share one wire format
- MIT licensed with published protocol contract
